Concieved in 1994 for the grand finale of the planned and scheduled 1994 WSL Season. Unfortunately, the Season Schedule fell through 3 times before the idea was rejected in August 94, and only the Final WSL game was played between the same 2 WSL teams that had faced off in June 93 (The June 12th, 1993 game won by the WaterBombers against the Super Soaker Warriors was later considered the First Water Cup winner). On August 28th, 1994, the Super Soaker Warriors defeated the WaterBombers to claim the 1994 Water Cup.

Now that the WSL has been revieved as the C-WSL in 1999, one more addition is planned for the 2000 season.
The Return of...

The WATER CUP.

Unlike the attempted season in 94 (which was a HUGE flop...), instead of 2 two man teams facing off it will be 2 or more teams with players of an undetermined amount. And Unlike the Weapons Restrictions in place in 94 (All weapons MUST be Super Soakers, or the Big Kahuna (on the Twilight Zone, Information Station)), all you need to fight is any form of water weaponry, although a Super Soaker is recommended...
As for the Water Cup, Unlike the Scheduled elimination playoffs in 94, or the Single game playoff like was actually held in 93 and 94, a Single OR Many games of Mass Amounts of players (not just 2), on two or more teams will battle to the end, the winners carrying home...
